The story of Mario Montessori

Mario Montessori (pictured left) was born on March 31, 1898, the only child of Maria Montessori (pictured right) and Giuseppe Montesano. At the time, societal pressures were harsh on unmarried parents, so Mario's birth was kept a secret. He wa
